Curious Addys' Trading Club (CATC) is a game designed to make it fun and effortless to learn about NFTs and crypto. Think of it as Duolingo for crypto.

The smart contract that mints our CATC NFTs will have a refund function that allows you at any time return your NFT back to the smart contract in exchange for 100% of what you paid for it, any time for 100 days after our public sale.
As this refund guarantee is permanently coded into our smart contract, no one, not even us, the creators of the code and CATC, can rescind this guarantee or stop you from getting a refund anytime you'd like.
We're offering this guarantee both because we're positive you'll fall in love with your Curious Addy and the community we're building, and because we want to showcase how awesome smart contracts are.
Yep! The problem with all the 10k PFP projects out there right now is they can't scale. We need millions of people out there using crypto and making these NFTs their profile pictures to really make crypto mainstream.
We're solving that problem with multiple NFT editions. Being part of the first 5,000 shows you were here first. The next 20,000, clearly differentiated in art and style, shows you were here second, and so on.
This allows us to retain all the special status associated with being part of the first 5,000 NFT owners in this project, while ensuring that the community can also grow larger than any other PFP NFT project community out there. An Addy is your curious ADHD octopus crypto companion, filled with boundless energy and hyperactive enthusiasm for learning each and every little thing about crypto. Smart, curious, and all over the place with eight hands to do eight things at once, we felt an octopus best embodied the essence of being a bold, brave new pioneer on the crypto frontier.
Mai and Ben, the developers behind this project, are both ADHD, and a large proportion of our friends in crypto are similarly ADHD - crypto is the perfect playground for an ADHD soul, with a million shiny infinitely interesting things to play with and what feels like thousands of things coming out every day.
Contrary to popular stigma, ADHD has been profoundly beneficial for us, and has enabled us to be more creative and open to exploring things others wouldn't have explored, such as crypto and NFTs, and to dive deeper than others in exploring these things (it's how we wrote a 90 page primer on NFTs in 6 days).
Some of our favorite people in the world were also almost certainly ADHD, such as Leonardo da Vinci (we like to think he would have been into NFTs!). ADHD has its downsides, but it's far from being without its upsides as well!
We felt that it was only fitting to create an avatar that would embody these positive traits about ADHD we cherish so deeply, and we hope you will love your Addy and treat it with care as it explores the frontiers of crypto by your side.

Mai
Mai is a Japanese implant in America, steeped in manga and anime culture, which influences the design of CATC.
Previously, she was a senior engineer at a billion dollar Silicon Valley startup as well as Vice President of Marketing at Logbar, a Japanese startup that created the world's first handheld offline translation device.
She is passionate about bringing more women into the crypto space, and has shared her story on why women should always do what they don't think they're good at.
Ben
Ben is a Harvard dropout and received a Thiel Fellowship, an entrepreneurial program that also fostered Vitalik Buterin, creator of Ethereum.
Ben previously cofounded Stream, a blockchain project to better reward content creators, which raised $20 million and included the cofounder of YouTube as an investor.
He is also known for having written Cryptocurrency 101 and NFTs 101, the most comprehensive article ever written on NFTs. You may also recognize Ben from Nas Daily!
Ana
Ana is an OG cryptoartist and animator - she was making fan art of CryptoKitties years before NFTs were cool.
She's even part of VJLoops.com, where Beeple used to contribute as an artist before he became an NFT centimillionaire and started this whole craze.
She's pretty much early on everything, and now she's early on making crypto mainstream at long last with her incredibly adorable art.
